Technical Documentation

The technical documentation for SimSAGS 4.1 has been generated using 2 documentation utilities. Each produces a typical technical documentation of code, algorithms, interfaces and APIs, but they differ in that one is more reflective of the modelling software's modular design while the other is more structured along object oriented lines.

Modular class hierarchy

Generated using Rich Feit's CppDoc 2.4. CppDoc generates HTML documentation for C++ classes, based on source code and special comments embedded within it, producing class hierarchies, a master index, and a deprecations list based on class relationships and hierarchy.

Object oriented class hierarchy

Generated using Dimitri van Heesch's Doxygen. Doxygen can generate an on-line documentation browser (in HTML) from a set of documented source files, extracted directly from the sources, making it much easier to keep the documentation consistent with the source code (hence the object oriented nature of this version of the technical documentation). This section also provides include dependency graphs, inheritance diagrams, and collaboration diagrams.
